   
Security Step Wedge - Page 25JEM Security Stepwedge, ASTM F792FAA, DOT Approved  The JEM Security Stepwedge is manufactured to meet the standard practice ASTM F 792 and was approved by the FAA in 1985 for use in testing airport security x-ray systems. This standard covers the use of ionizing radiation imaging techniques for the detection of questionable items such as weapons and devices intended to trigger explosives. The Security Stepwedge is intended to determine the sensitivity of security detection equipment. It is furnished with a rugged padded carrying case.
